calvin getting his gift

today i gave calvin his gifts. he liked the chair and the stuffed car, but the gift he liked most of all, was the book that made and helicopter noises. he loved it so much, that i beleive the battery is going to run down by the time i finish this post, and i just gave it to him five minutes before starting this post. here is a picture of him.

getting use to typing on this keyboard

I will hopefully get use to this keyboard, which is so hard to type on. I have a picture of the keyboard.
Now compare it with a regualur keyboard and see the difference.

flying over

I had a 8 hour flight with a 6 hour time change. But after all that, I finally made it hear, to the home of my moms friends. I could barely sleep. But I did catch some good photos of the sun coming up over the horizon on the Atlantic.

JFK airport

I never thought I would be posting in the airport, but I am posting from gate one of many iPads attached to the wall I can use for free. My flight is in an hour.

night before

It still has not hit me that I am going to another country with a different language for a month. And that might be a good thing, because while I might not be as excited as I should, I am also not as nervous as I could be. I feel, not affected, but I know the second I step off the plane, it will hit me like a speeding train.
